The Seminar room was packed with families, school support staff, teachers and students all sharing in the important role of technology and eLearning.
Families were informed about how we use iPads to help our students engage with information, find answers and share their learning with the world. We also discussed the important issue of how families can best manage mobile devices and how learning more about the devices can help parents and caregivers understand and support their child’s learning. Families were given the opportunity to ask questions and share knowledge around the issues that are important to them.
It was the first of many school community activities to be held in the Learning Hub and it was a huge success. We would like to thank Tin Le, Nevena Simic and Laetitia Tungaraza for coordinating the event and Cherie Baker-Hutton for her work presenting. It was a really positive experience for the school community and we can’t wait until next time!
